![]() I just want to be done with these time-sucking problems, most of which are clearly driver and OS related. I'm wondering, if this would solve my issues, or should I look into a Mac after all. If I were to rebuild my PC, I would go with a 9900k platform with a MB with TB3 built in, and a new NVME drive with a fresh install of 10. Sometimes it goes away, then 5 minutes later it comes back again. Also, audio coming from the system such as Spotify or Youtube creates intermittent clicks and pops. If on restart it doesn't recognize it, I have to continually restart, sometimes 4-5 times until the device is recognized. I'm still stuck on a 2017 build and tweaked Windows 10 to prevent automatic updates, and occasionally come across issues such as: If I accidentally knock out my TB3 cable, Windows no longer recognizes my Apollo and I have to restart. ![]() ![]() Windows 10 itself is unstable since the arrival of the Creator's update, and I had to reformat twice after being locked out from a faulty automatic install (I would not wish this problem on my worst enemy. I installed an Asus Thunderbolt 3 card, and for the most part it has worked fine. When I got my Apollo Twin MKII, I rebuilt my PC a few years ago using an LGA-2011 platform (i7 5820k). ![]()
